Students Earn Career Training at Farm Credit East

Two SUNY Cobleskill students, Meagan Holveck and Nathanial Tompkins, were among 16 student interns who worked at Farm Credit East this summer to gain experience in agribusiness, accounting, finance, and related fields.

From Morning Ag Clips:

“The 12-week internship program is offered to college juniors each summer. During the experience, students earn an inside look into Farm Credit East and the various career opportunities by shadowing employees in various roles. Each intern also completes a major project, many of which fulfill business plan initiatives. These projects contribute valuable information to be used in reports and future planning.”
