A Message from the President
All of us at SUNY Cobleskill are working together to build a better world. We are educating the thinkers and doers who will design tomorrow with the skills to succeed and the desire to make a difference. Shaping a sustainable future takes all of us — students, faculty, staff, and the wider community. It takes the power of SUNY, Cobleskill-style.
The 2015-16 academic year carried us into our second century of innovation. As we look back at our founding documents, we are proud to see that our 100-year standard of applied learning is now regarded as 21st century best practice.
We are beginning our second century with all the vigor and vision informed by our history. In the past year we worked to deepen student engagement on campus, we announced four pioneering new degree programs, invested in degree completion and expanded access to college education and partnered with local governments to foster economic development.
As we go forward, we will continue to build on this momentum. In the coming year, we will create a capital plan to ensure that our facilities remain on the cutting edge for generations to come. We will deepen and broaden our ties with community partners to the benefit of all. We will continuously expand opportunities for students of all ages and backgrounds to access a quality SUNY Cobleskill education.
We have much to be proud of in our Centennial year. Our plans for the coming year and beyond promise to keep us growing forward.
