About Leigh Ann:
Dr. Leigh Ann Christain is currently Associate Professor of Composition and ESOL in the Liberal Studies Department of the State University of New York College of Agriculture and Technology at Cobleskill. Her responsibilities include teaching a wide variety of English courses. An English BA and Philosophy & Religion BA graduate of Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri, Dr. Christain earned an MA and PhD in English (with a Creative Writing concentration) from the University of South Dakota. While at USD, she was a three-year recipient of the Gladys Hasse Poetry Award and a two-year recipient of the English Department Memorial Scholarship. Dr. Christain is a Pushcart nominee who has had poems published in such journals as Seneca Review, Arabesques Review, and The Lifted Brow, among others.
