On campus there are a variety of clubs to get involved in. Some of the best advice a friend gave me before I came to college is to branch out and get involved. My first semester of my freshman year I joined 2 clubs and was actively involved in my residence hall. Joining the clubs introduced me to a great group of people who I call friends.
Here is a list of some of clubs that you can be involved in when you attend SUNY Cobleskill:
Circle K international– This was one of the first clubs I joined my freshman year. Circle K is a great club for students who are interested in volunteering and doing service projects both on and off campus.
Archery Club– Every week students have the opportunity to learn how to properly use a bow and arrow, learn about the history of archery, and connect with fellow students. All abilities are welcome to come to the club! Students also have the opportunity to go to competitions.
Dramatic Tigerians—SUNY Cobleskill offers a drama club for students to discuss theater and drama productions. Also plays are performed during the semester that students get to act in. Everyone is welcome to watch and become a member of the club.
Pre-Veterinary Club— It’s a great club for students who are interested in becoming a Vet. The club is a great resource for students who are wanting to pursue veterinary medicine; with the club there are opportunities to help at animal maintenance facilities
