Highest Degree Award in FFA goes to Coby Alumna Wegner ‘19
SUNY Cobleskill alumna Emma Rose Wegner ’19 has been awarded the American FFA Degree, the highest achievable degree in FFA. Wegner received the honor at the 2019 National FFA Convention November 2 in Indianapolis, in recognition of her dedication to Schoharie Valley FFA and the New York State FFA Association.
Wegner earned her BS in Agricultural Business Management in 2019. She is a member of the inaugural class of the College’s Sigma Alpha organization, a former member of Epsilon Pi Tau Honor Society, and held leadership positions in SUNY Cobleskill Block and Bridle. She was also the 2016-17 collegiate Farm Bureau Representative through the National Postsecondary Agricultural Student Organization (PAS), and was instrumental to SUNY Cobleskill hosting the Grasstravaganza conference at the College this summer. She currently holds a team position with New York Farm Bureau (NYFB), based in Albany.
On behalf of SUNY Cobleskill and the College Alumni Association, congratulations on this well-deserved honor!
