Over the Phone
Calling us at 518-255-5524 to charge your Visa or Mastercard with a donation is a convenient way to support the college.
All state employees can make a gift to the college via payroll deduction. To start making your gifts through payroll deduction, or to adjust the gifts that you are making, simply request a payroll deduction form and return it to the SUNY Cobleskill Foundation Office.
You can easily maximize your gift to the college by using your employer's matching gift program. To see if you work for a matching gift company check with your Personnel or Human Resource Office.
If you are interested in making a gift through a bequest, charitable trust, charitable gift annuity, life insurance, retirement plan, or other planned gift, you can find more information by contacting John J. Appreciated Stock and Mutual Funds
Contributing appreciated stock and mutual funds is a way to make a significant gift while saving capital gains and income taxes. You can specify either a certain number of shares or a dollar amount. If you are interested in making a gift of stock or mutual funds, please contact our office at 518-255-5524 and we will assist you in this transaction and answer any questions you may have.
A residence, vacation home, farm, acreage, or vacant lot may have appreciated in value over the years and selling it outright could result in a sizable capital gains tax. By giving such property to the College you can support your interests and benefit from considerable tax savings.
All gifts made to the SUNY Cobleskill Foundation and SUNY Cobleskill Alumni Association
are tax-deductible as permitted by law.
