SUNY Cobleskill Livestock Barn Has Rare Occurrence of Quintuplets

A four year old mother goat at the SUNY Cobleskill Livestock Barn had a busy morning yesterday—delivering 5 kids! All of them are doing fine. According to Donna Cappadona, Livestock Manager, most goats will deliver twins or triplets, but one mother giving birth to quintuplets is quite unusual. The Livestock Barn is open for the community and welcomes visitors to come see their practices and learn more. For more information please contact Donna Cappadona at 518-852-0228 or e-mail
