Jefferson Community College is partnering with SUNY Cobleskill to offer a four year degree program in culinary arts.
JCC has offered a culinary arts program – and a two year degree in the subject – since the late 1970s. What changes is this: culinary arts students will be abe to take SUNY Cobleskill courses that lead to a four year degree, without leaving JCC.
Some courses will be online;others will be taught in person by JCC faculty.
Our guests on 7 News This Morning Tuesday were Pope Vickers, head of JCC’s hospitality and tourism department, and JoAnne Cloughly, culinary arts chair for SUNYCobleskill. They briefed Jeff Cole on an upcoming information session on the four year degree program, set for Wednesday night at 5:30 pm in Room 3-106 at the Dulles Building on the campus of JCC.
