SUNY Cobleskill is pleased to be the recipient of the Caterpillar Annual Scholarship, providing generous financial assistance to SUNY Cobleskill students who meet the required provisions and are enrolled in the College’s Agricultural Engineering program. Through the partnership between SUNY Cobleskill, Milton Caterpillar and the Caterpillar Company, SUNY Cobleskill graduates have connected their passion for Heavy Equipment to real-life, highly respectable careers within the construction equipment industry.
The Caterpillar Company, the largest supplier of construction equipment in the world, provides financial assistance to secondary and post-secondary schools through the Caterpillar Dealer Excellence Fund. This Fund, a partnership between the Caterpillar Foundation, Caterpillar’s Distribution Services, participating dealers and eligible schools, aims to strengthen curriculum and faculty development while increasing the pool of qualified service technicians within the industry.

Incoming, returning, or transfer SUNY Cobleskill Agricultural Engineering students are eligible to receive the Caterpillar Annual Scholarship if they possess a minimum grade point average of 3.0. Students are required to be enrolled in the Agricultural Equipment Technology, Diesel Technology or Power and Machinery programs at the College. Though a need for financial assistance is not required, applicant’s financial status will be taken into consideration.
