Brickyard Brewhouse, a newly renovated student-space located on the SUNY Cobleskill campus, celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony on February 11.
Formerly known as Brickyard Point, this space will offer students a quiet and comfortable environment in close proximity to the student residential community. Students can study, think and lounge quietly while enjoying specialty beverages and light food options.
The beverage selection at Brickyard Brewhouse includes Finger Lakes Roasters coffee, lattes, cappuccinos, smoothies, teas and juices. Customers can also enjoy a selection of food options such as bagels with toppings, fresh fruit, specialty pastries and “ready to go” choices.
“This is an exciting new addition to the College. We have renovated an old and tired student space and created a comfortable environment in a supportive learning community,” remarked Steven M. Ackerknecht, Vice President for Student Affairs at SUNY Cobleskill. “This has been a wonderful partnership between Cobleskill Auxiliary Services, Facilities Management and our Student Affairs and Residential Life program. It’s all about putting student’s first.”
