SUNY Cobleskill is proud to present the work of John Grosvenor, to be showcased at the 2015 Cultural Arts Series. The Grosvenor Art Gallery Opening Reception Exhibit will take place on Friday, April 10 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. During an evening rich in art, history and culture, guests can view selected works by the late John Grosvenor, a distinguished SUNY Cobleskill faculty member. Music will be presented by The Bleecker Consort, featuring historic Medieval and Renaissance instruments. The performance entitled “With Song and Dance: European Medieval and Renaissance Song and Dances” will begin at 7 p.m.

Donations will be accepted throughout the evening in support of the Michael Murphy Biotechnology Endowed Scholarship Fund. Mr. Michael Murphy has recently been selected by the China’s State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs as a High-End Foreign Expert. With this honor he will teach, advise and mentor students, faculty and business collaborators at the Zhejiang University School of Technology in Hangzhou, China. All donations to the Michael Murphy Biotechnology Endowed Scholarship Fund at this event will be generously matched by Mr. Michael Murphy and Mr. Peter Haley up to $100,000.

The 2015 Cultural Arts Series Opening Reception Exhibit will be held at the Grosvenor Art Gallery, located on the second floor of the Old Gym Building at SUNY Cobleskill.
