Students Gifted with the Howard H. Reilly Scholarship Endowment

SUNY Cobleskill is pleased to announce the endowment of the Howard H. Reilly Scholarship, providing generous financial assistance to students who meet the required provisions and are dedicated to promoting, appreciating and fostering an understanding of all natural resources. Michael Reilly, a SUNY Cobleskill Alumni Association Board member, established the Howard H. Reilly Scholarship Endowment in honor of his father, Howard, a devoted preservationist and owner of the Reilly Ridge Farm.

“In honor of my father and his lasting legacy of good stewardship, the Howard H. Reilly Endowed Scholarship will create economic opportunity for generations to come. Students who understand that our natural resources are limited and uphold a responsibility to educate future generations on the significance of environmental consciousness will be celebrated through this opportunity,” said Michael.

Well-versed in past and present studies of the environment, the recipient of the Howard H. Reilly Endowed Scholarship will be a well-rounded and knowledgeable individual in environmental matters – committed to sharing their insight with others. Applicants must be enrolled in a major in agriculture or natural resources at SUNY Cobleskill. Additionally, applicants must provide a letter of recommendation from a faculty member and prepare a 200 – 500 word essay that shares their SUNY Cobleskill experience and how they meet the required provisions.
