Sheer Madness Author to Speak on Campus

On Tuesday, October 6 the Wellness Center is hosting guest author Andrew McKenna, a veteran and former Special Prosecutor for the Department of Justice to give his real-life story of opiate and heroin addiction.

His memoir, Sheer Madness, is an account of the perils of prescription drug abuse and untreated depression. Mr. McKenna will share his story that led to drug abuse, robbing banks, and serving time in federal prison. He is now working to spread the word about how prescription drug abuse and depression changes lives forever. His brutal honesty and candor is an inspiration to those struggling with depression and addiction, delivering a powerful message of hope and redemption.

Mr. McKenna will be speaking in the Bouck Hall Theater at 7pm, and signing copies of his memoir afterwards. This event is free and open to the public.
