SUNY Cobleskill Says Goodbye to Beatrice Mallery

SUNY Cobleskill’s oldest living alum, Beatrice (Ullman) Mallery passed away in her home in Sharon Springs, NY on Sunday, December 13, 2015. She was 106. Bea graduated from the Teacher Training program in 1929, and went on to teach in one-room schoolhouses in the surrounding community. During WWII, she joined the war effort by making war materials at Beech-Nut in Canajoharie. Her legacy includes a son, Keith (Phyllis) Mallery of Sharon Springs; a daughter, Inez (Robert) Parker of Huntsville, AL; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
