SUNY Cobleskill alumnus and president of the National Association of Landscape Professionals Brett Lemcke will make a trip back to campus on Saturday, April 16 to join the Spring Landscape Blitz.

The Blitz is an effort of the Plant Science & Landscape Club along with Jacobson Landscape of New Jersey, RM Landscape of New York, and Eastern Land Management of Connecticut to clean up and mulch the entire campus in a single day. Work will start at 8 a.m. and end at 3 p.m. The students in the club will earn service learning credit for the project.

Lemcke was named NALP president in March. He joined the organization as a student at SUNY Cobleskill in 1998 and has been an active member ever since. He also founded and operates RM Landscape.
