swAG Week 2016

In 2013, three Agricultural Business Management students were inspired after attending a national conference to start a new student organization on campus — Ag Council — that would be comprised of all of the officers of existing Agricultural and Natural Resource clubs.  In its first year, Council, with the support of the Student Government Association, sponsored “swAG” week, a celebration of all things “ag” and a nod to the notion that “Feeding the World takes swAG”.

Now four years strong, “swAg Week” 2016 will celebrate the pivotal role of women in agriculture both on campus and beyond.  The week’s events are slated for April 23 – 30. Unless otherwise noted, events are free and open to the campus and community.
