Four hundred and fifty-five SUNY Cobleskill students received their degrees Saturday afternoon in a sunny outdoor Commencement ceremony headlined by keynote speaker Richard Ball, New York State Commissioner of Agriculture and Markets and owner of Schoharie Valley Farms. The College awarded an honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters to Carol Brock, the pioneering founder of Les Dames d’Escoffier, who has helped generations of women break into the culinary arts.
