SUNY Cobleskill Hosts Successful Northeast Regional Dairy Challenge

From Dairy Business — SUNY Cobleskill hosted the 14th annual Northeast Regional Dairy Challenge in Glens Falls, NY. One hundred twenty students representing 13 colleges and universities through the northeast and Canada attended the event.

The Regional Dairy Challenge places students on mixed-university teams of four or five individuals to analyze all aspects of a working dairy. Teams assessed the dairy’s facilities, nutrition, financials, reproduction, animal health and much more. Together, they collaborated on a 20-minute team presentation that detailed their observations and suggestions to a panel of judges and participating farm families.
