Yono’s in Albany, a contemporary American restaurant and close friend of SUNY Cobleskill, has been named to Open Table’s list of 100 Best Restaurants in America for 2016.

Chef Yono Purnomo sits on the SUNY Cobleskill Foundation Board of Directors and the Culinary Arts advisory board. He has supported SUNY Cobleskill students through the Yono’s Endowed Scholarship for those who show “integrity, promise and talent in the culinary arts.”

Chef Yono is also a consistent supporter of SUNY Cobleskill’s annual Culinary Extravaganza, a celebration of local food and culinary talent that raises money to support student success.

Open Table’s list is based on more than 10 million reviews of over 24,000 restaurants across the country. Those that made the top 100 were distinguished by delicious food, impeccable service, and attention to detail to “orchestrate one-of-a-kind dining experiences time and again.”
