SUNY Cobleskill is proud to once again join the New York State Fair from Aug. 23 through Sept. 4 to introduce visitors to the College’s diverse, hands-on academic programs. Representatives from the College will be on hand throughout the fair to talk with visitors and answer questions.
Widely recognized as a leader in agricultural education, SUNY Cobleskill is also one of the state’s top schools for culinary arts. Its contiguous farm, award-winning dairy herd, 40,000-gallon cold-water fish hatchery, state-of-the-art greenhouses and innovative academic programs make it the perfect place to learn every aspect of sustainable, farm-to-table food production.
The SUNY Cobleskill exhibition will be located among more than five dozen other New York State institutions and companies in the expanded Taste NY Market inside the Horticulture Building to showcase the state’s thriving food and agriculture sector. The College will also have a presence in the FFA Building.
Visitors to the New York State Fair are encouraged to stop by the SUNY Cobleskill exhibition area on Friday, Sept. 1 at 11 a.m. to sample cuisine prepared on-site by SUNY Cobleskill Professor of Culinary Arts David Campbell using New York State products.
