SUNY Cobleskill was well represented at the New York Farm Bureau Young Farmers Collegiate Discussion Meet at Cornell University, sending five students to the competition which was held on November 11. Three SUNY Cobleskill team members reached the final four where, after multiple rounds of intense conversation, Coby’s Seth Browe ’21 claimed victory. Browe qualifies to attend the National American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF) Young Farmer & Rancher FUSION Conference in February, held in Milwaukee, where he will represent NY in the National Collegiate Discussion Meet.

SUNY Cobleskill’s Lindsey Weykman ’22 and Caroline Crouch ’21 joined Browe in the competition’s final four. Along with Tracy Rudgers ’21 and Thomas Coene ’20, students participating from SUNY Cobleskill are members of the College’s Postsecondary Agricultural Student Organization/Collegiate Farm Bureau Club. Browe is the club’s president, as well as Vice President of Marketing & Branding for the National PAS Organization.
