This past weekend, SUNY Cobleskill once again opened its culinary kitchens to area middle and high school students, competing in the Sixth Annual Junior Iron Chef Competition. Tasked with building a nutritious menu item from colorful, fresh produce, the student team from Cobleskill’s Golding Middle School, the “Wrap Stars,” took the middle school competition title.

One of the judges on hand to evaluate the edible entries was CNY/WDOS-AM’s own Big Chuck D’Imperio. For more on this year’s event, check out his coverage of the competitions here.

Congratulations to all our competitors, and thank you for joining us. We look forward to seeing you back at SUNY Cobleskill for next year’s competition.
