27 from SUNY Cobleskill Become “Masters of Beef Advocacy”

SUNY Cobleskill does not award graduate degrees – that didn’t stop 27 animal science students from completing an MBA program last month. Funded by the Cattlemen’s Beef Promotion And Research Board’s Beef Checkoff Program, the Masters of Beef Advocacy (MBA) Program is a “self-directed online training” designed to provide beef producers and those aligned with them the information necessary to advocate on behalf of the beef industry. Enrolled students must complete modules covering topics on the beef community, grass-fed cattle, and “From Cattle to Beef.” At SUNY Cobleskill, Dr. Lynn Geoffroy requires her students to complete the course.

Read “Morning Ag Clips” full coverage of SUNY Cobleskill’s 27 MBA graduates. Congratulations to them all, and Dr. Geoffroy, on behalf of the College.
