With SUNY Cobleskill’s 101st Commencement less than one week away, the College is preparing on one hand to send off a beloved graduating class, while on the other readying itself to host a most-welcome, and most-fitting, keynote speaker. As numerous regional and national media outlets have reported since SUNY Cobleskill released the news in mid-April, Secretary Thomas J. Vilsack, the longest-serving member of President Obama’s original cabinet, former two-term Governor of Iowa, and former Iowa State Senator, is scheduled to speak at the College Saturday, May 11. Secretary Vilsack will also receive a SUNY Honorary Doctorate of Science Degree.
SUNY Cobleskill is honored to welcome Secretary Vilsack to campus for this special ceremony and day. Below, learn more and stay up to date on Secretary Vilsack’s scheduled keynote address.
