Two Students, Three Scholarships, as Pair Claim Prestigious Awards

It’s Scholarship Season once again. As the Fall 2019 semester draws to a close, students across the country are receiving word on the scholarship awards they have earned.  These awards serve to enhance student-learning — and thanks to Coby students Kathryn Bosley and Lydia Chittenden — also fill us with pride.

On behalf of the College, congratulations to Kathryn and Lydia on their awards!

-*Kathryn Bosley ’21 (above): recipient of the V.L. Peterson Scholarship from the American Jersey Cattle Association (AJCA), and an Animal Agriculture Alliance College Aggies scholarship.

The former is an award of $2,750 upon completion of one or more year(s) of higher learning. The latter is awarded upon earning first, second, or third place in the College Aggies Online scholarship competition, in the amount of $1,000, for the promotion of agriculture.

-Lydia Chittenden ’23, recipient of a William A. Russell Memorial Scholarship from the American Jersey Cattle Association (AJCA)

$2,750 award to a student beginning university studies.

*Bosley recently contributed a blog entry to SeeJessFarm, in which she discusses mental health and wellness in agriculture. Read it here.
