SUNY Cobleskill Graduating Senior Jazmina Syed Receives Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence

Cobleskill, NY – Jazmina Syed, of Schenectady, New York, has received the Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence, conferred by SUNY Chancellor Kristina Johnson. Jazmina is among the 213 recipients state-wide representing the 64 campuses in the SUNY system.

Jazmina will graduate a semester early with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. She has a 3.96 GPA and is a member of Phi Theta Kappa and Epsilon Pi Tau honors societies. She was awarded the competitive Future Forward Internship Academy (FFIA) position by New York State. Jazmina was a student athlete on the women’s volleyball team and participated in the honors program, DEI committee, student conduct review board, was an active tutor and admissions ambassador. She was a leader in her community service work.
