The Institute for Rural Vitality (IRV) at SUNY Cobleskill Ag & Tech will host a two-day Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) Training Course on Sept. 9-10, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Through funding support from Empire State Development (ESD), this course is being offered at $250 per participant, half the regular course tuition.
HACCP Training equips food industry professionals with the science, regulations, and hands-on tools to keep their operations safe, compliant, and audit-ready. Over the two days, participants will work through the fundamentals of hazard analysis, learn to identify, evaluate critical control points, and leave with practical systems they can apply to their own operations.
Pre-registration is required. Interested participants can register at slate.cobleskill.edu/register/HACCP, or contact the IRV at 518-255-5043 or Institute@cobleskill.edu with questions. The training will be held at Prentice Hall on the SUNY Cobleskill campus (152 Albany Ave, Cobleskill).
The course is offered as part of the IRV’s Empowers program, an ESD-funded initiative expanding subsidized workforce training for farm and food businesses across the Mohawk Valley region.
